I tend to lose targets quite frequently. Seems to happen most at the Golem event where for no reason the target gets dropped. Its not due to dodging or getting out of weapon range or clicking something else. I just lose the target.

Also with the clockwork invasions, when I lose my target on a champ, it usually switches to a friendly player. I am not clicking on a different target, dodging or out of weapon range. I also seems to have a hard time tabbing back to the original target, it seems to only want to tab between 3 different enemies & of course its never my original target.

Its hard enough to see the aetherblade targets (which one is champ/vetean etc.) in the invasion with everything being the same heigth, the clockwork & dredge champs are easy to see, but the aetherblades are all the same size. Its frustrating to have to search through a sea of red to find the champ, finally find it with half health left then lose the target, & not being able to click on it again & end up with a blue box. You would think you could tab back to last target but no, it just cycles between the same 3 random enemies.

Is the losing target bug being looked at? I know Im not the only person experiencing this.

No you’re not the only one. Similar things happen to me, too, where my target will suddenly change to another player, or one of my necro’s minions.

I also have this happen – so perplexing (and frustrating!) to be standing still, firing at range, and then all of the sudden I’m targeting another player, my pet, or someone else’s pet or minion. It is very bad during large mob fights with lots of other players around.

Happens to me too. I found that positioning the camera with mouse 1 can cause you to target something else. When you hold mouse 1 to position the camera (the cursor is hidden when you do this). If you release mouse 1 and if your cursor is on a friendly player that player will be targeted.

I sometimes did those veteran giants, and then I noticed that every time when I’m not facing the target (with the camera), it stops beeing selected, so I couldnt run away and summon iDuellist e.g.. Also when I was fighting against 2 mobs I could simply face the other mob (just camera!) and it selected it without me doing something.

It’s annoying as f**k and I can’t find anything at the ingame options. Anyone can help me? Am I the only one?

Also experiencing this as well.

I used to get this a lot too, especially when rotating the camera. I fixed it by turning off the option “Right click to attack / interact”

Also, with ground targeting, instead of clicking where to put it, just hit the appropriate key when the target is positioned by the mouse. For instance, hit 2, position target with mouse, hit 2 again.

Other than that, I don’t know what else to suggest

2 options you need to check. First option is promote skill target. This should be checked. Second option is right click to attack/interact. That should be unchecked.
