I’m trying to do my achievements, but this mini dungeon in Caledon Forest always bugs out.

Either the eyes don’t display a pattern or the pattern they show isn’t right (or at least don’t do anything when you put the tears in the correct pattern).

I’ve done this one already, are you sure you’re placing the tears correctly? We didn’t have any trouble doing this.

This puzzle is indeed bugged for many people. It was bugged for me both last night and this morning on Desolation server.

As a temporary fix, it appears placing two tears in each position that requires a tear will make it register appropriately.

After letting it reset 2 times I finally was able to finish it. I started putting 2 tears on each stone instead of one, and eventually it worked.

But yeah, this thing is really buggy.

While this bug still seems to be going on there is a way around the bug. If you match the pattern on the face and it is not lighting the torch then place a tear on each button and then when all the buttons have a tear on them remove the tears that are on the buttons not shown on the face, at least it worked for me. Hope this works for you too good luck.

I’ve completed this twice now and notice that even if I have the pattern correct the game wont acknowledge it UNLESS there is at least one unused tear in each “spawn” pile.
As soon as I would move a piece (holding or dropped) in that general area the pattern would be recognized by the game and the corresponding torch would light.

This is known, it’s actually stated on the wiki.

Usually, you can just try known patterns and eventually you can get it.
