Guild Wars 2

My character is a Blood Legion charr.

In “Temple of the Forgotten God”, the NPC and my character fight the first fight and get through the first door by leaving the elixir at the spot that wants the elixir.
We win the second fight with the challenge character. But after we deposit the elixir, using the dialog that says “deposit elixir”, the door stays locked.

I’ve tried it twice, with exactly the same result.

If you have any hints for a work-around, I’d be grateful. I am sure there are charr that have completed this quest.

EDIT
It is “illusory essence”, not elixir. I defeat the summoned opponent, pick up and successfully deposit the essence, but door 2 does not open.

I’ve tried wiping all the mob before the deposit, but no joy. I’ve tried running past the mob after I deposit the essence, but the door 2 is still locked.

So it’s PvP and filling out the maps for me. I’m already at 76 and I can’t get thru the lvl 72 quest; I guess this story has a sad and pathetic ending for me. :-(

i had the same problem, but if you look around enough you will find another door open, so just look. the door your refering to is a door in front of a rock there is a door next to it.
