Teq Karma Bugged?
I just did the Tequatl World Boss event (lv 68 area) and i notice from yesterday the karma gain from doing the defense phase and beating him for getting a gold reward is seriously diminished. I used to receive about 323 karma for a gold reward with no karma buff, and now it’s as low as 123 karma. I did the event yesterday and got the normal karma amount but not tonight, so is the event reward bugged? or was it sneaked nerf?
P.S. Sadly i forgot to take a screenshot before this post to show the drastic change and low reward from today.
I’m almost certain that your character is suffering from diminished rewards. “Tomorrow”, get there 5-10 minutes sooner than you usually do and complete a few events away from the Teq area and it should reset for you.
(Event DR halves the karma reward for events.)
Generally, most people never see DR for Teq because they tend to be all over the map, doing the associated events. They might have tweaked the formula a bit making it more likely in certain circumstances.

i never do teq with the same character , i tend to go in the map 30 minutes before the event … there plenty of hard wood and Platinum to harvest while you wait.
if your character is parked at Teq WP and only do this then yes big chance to hit DR.
