In the southmost corner of Dredgehaunt Cliffs, there is an ancient sealed door.
This door is none other than the entrance to the Tomb of Morlog.

The Tomb of Morlog is possibly the final resting place of Hierophant Morlog.

This door has remained sealed since I can remember. I have never seen it opened, and I do not see any means of opening it. No-one I have spoken to has been inside this tomb.

Other doors in Dredgehaunt cliffs with identical appearance can be opened using Dwarven Keys. This door however, does not respond to any players with Dwarven Keys in his/her inventory.

What lies within the cold vault known as Tomb of Morlog?
Opening the other tombs in Dredgehaunt cliffs unleashed ancient imps walled up inside. Could there also be an ancient gargoyle entombed here, lying in wait for hundreds maybe thousands of years to escape from his prison?

Is this the location of the elusive staff known as Final Rest?

Bottom line is…. nobody knows…. and nobody can get in.

The tomb used to contain an event like the other tombs (and was opened with a key like the other tombs) but the event was cut before we shipped and the tomb was sealed up. When we have time, I’m sure we’ll see an event added to that area.

I think what they are meaning is, is it perhaps here that the staff “Final Rest” is found?

Has anyone from Anet confirmed that the chest that does drop Final Rest has been opened, either recently or since launch, at all?

Final Rest has no connection to this tomb at all.
