Since the April patch, you can’t see health bars above squad members (nameplates) anymore. In order to display it, you have to mouseover a squad member (or 15-50 squad members to find where you should ground target your next heal).

I don’t know if it’s an intended feature or a bug but it makes druid, and possibly other support specializations, hardly playable in WvW. If it’s intended, it makes no sense, while “ground target healing” you need a way to read who needs HP back fast and where, at least add an option to toggle it on and off.

This needs a fix asap, if this is an intended change it is ridiculous and just makes healing overly complicated.

With the old squad you would see someone low hp on your raid frame and all it would take is one glance at everyone’s health bar (the one above their heads) to see where the player who needs the heals is so that you can go and support him.

Honestly most of my healing was done on players that I saw low from observing the fight and seeing their bar rather than from watching the raid frame.

They need to make it an option as well as being able to increase the size and being able to toggle it between raid squads, normal squads, parties, and just normally

I agree with this. I definitely noticed the increased difficulty when healing during Gorse because of folks being either in the zerg with me or off on their own slowing spirits during the splits. I really hope this is a bug and it can be returned to normal!

At least make it show up permanently for those in our squad and hover for anyone else.

I have just noticed it early but I was in a simple party, not a squad. I have Show All Player Names checked and I could see their nameplate, but the health bar was hidden until I hovered them. >.<
