I just purchased a black lion upgrade extractor for 250 gems to use on my ascended staff. I wanted to be able to keep my staff and all of the sigils and infusions I had on it. After using the upgrade extractor, I was able to keep the staff, but ALL of the upgrades disappeared.

So naturally I’m very upset at the lost upgrades AND the gems I spent. This was a very expensive loss for me.

I’m not sure what to do here. I submitted a bug ticket in game. Will I get my items back?

So, you used the extractor on the staff, and you didn’t get anything out of it? Did you search your entire inventory and bank for the stuff, to be sure? If so, submit a Support Ticket (not a bug report, which is what you submitted in-game). https://help.guildwars2.com/anonymous_requests/new

If you have screen shots of the before and after, it might be good to include them if they ask.

Correct, I used the extractor and got nothing back. Checked all of my characters and my bank. Nothing.

Don’t have a before screenshot because I expected it to work. It’s never given me problems in the past.
