Guild Wars 2

As the title said, I bought an extra character slot with gems and used one of my Experience Scrolls to get the new character to level 20.
When I had filled my experience bar for the first time since I used the scroll, I went from level 20 to… level 20 again. ?!?
Is this a known bug? If so, why haven’t I encountered it before? I have used a scroll before.
Is there some way to get my levelling to work again? I really don’t feel like playing if I’m stuck at 20.

Did it update when you logged out and back in, ive had this sometimes, when the game doesn’t catch up or seem to sync up right at the time, but normally fixes itself after I log out and back in.

I’ve logged, relogged and restarted the client. There’s no cache issue here.
I’m 88/10900 xp into my 20:th level.

I tried to level again today and I gained the 21:st level, so I’ll simply consider it as a one-time bug and ignore it. Thanks for trying to help me

If you watch the level bar whenever you level up, for some reason, it fills the next level all the way to the end, then starts over at the beginning of that level. Hard to explain, but say you are about to level up to level 10. When you get the experience to move you into level 10, the bar will show level 10 on the left and level 11 on the right, fill up all the way to 11, then clear out and start accumulating XP at the far left again. It’s very odd, and can be confusing. It always looks like you are doing levels over.
