Already GW2 is infested with in-game gold sellers. Not only spamming chat but I have already received in-game mail from gold sellers offering their wares.

Why is there no DIRECT way to report gold selling in chat or mail? All we can do it put in report about spamming or botting and I am sure the techies are currently looking at these closely – NOT.

I always report gold sellers but it seems reporting them as spammers leaves us open to having OUR accounts blocked for reporting too much

Give us a DIRECT option to report gold sellers so you guys can prioritise this and ban them before the ruin the experience for those of us that dont want to cheat our way through games.

Right click the name in the chat window to report, as well as to block, the gold seller. Blocking: you won’t see there spam chat anymore. You can also select a player and right click to report/block. As for ingame mail, I’ve also seen this and reported it to Anet via the ingame support/bug function. I haven’t received any gold seller mail since.

I only report gold sellers once, and then I block them. That way I know if I see gold seller spam in chat, I haven’t reported them.

Well, they are able to send you their message if they want LOL.

Most of the time right clicking doesnt now show the menu. i reported this already.

Sorry guys but I know how to report. The simple fact is there is no way to report gold sellers specifically nor any way to report them when the mail you in game. You can put it as spammers in chat but given the game issues currently I doubt whether anet wil get round to checking these for a long time.
Blocking doesnt get rid of these leeches. It just means I dont see them. I want them exterminated before they ruin the game like they did the original GW.

Also, blacklisting or flagging the word “pvpbank” in any section of the game might be helpful. I get a lot of in-game mail from hacked accounts for these clowns.

There is no way to report offensive guild names, and although there is an option to mark guild sellers as spammers via chat, there is no way to do so via the ingame mail.

“We’ll add an option to report an account for sending spam or otherwise inappropriate in-game mail. Edit: This option will be added in tomorrow night’s update, not tonight’s update.”
