Guild Wars 2

GW2 freaks out when you try to run it in fullscreen and messes everything up. Screen goes blank and can’t alt-tab, alt-f4, or even kill it in the task manager. You actually have to power the machine off to get out of it. Windowed mode works fine, though.

I know Win10 is in the ‘technical preview’ stage and not actually released, but it would be nice to have it fixed before the full release.

Since the last update, which included the camera changes (and seemingly also a resize of the loading screen artwork), my client does the same thing and I run Win7.

Also the character select screen works normal in fullscreen, only loading into the map gives of the symptoms previously described.

However luckily Windowed Fullscreen still works!

Same thing happens with winXP. And even the character select doesn’t work. Anet should find a fix and apologize for all these problems after actually a little update, instead of hyping over new features in social media. ><
