Guild Wars 2

Every time I queue for WvW with my guildmates they have a quite short waiting time (+- 30 minutes) and I’ve had the queue let me get in once. Just once since GW2 went live.

I’ve been waiting for 3 hours here while the rest of the guild got no problems getting into WvW, again each and every one of them had a 30 minutes wait tops.
Some have queued before me, some after me yet everyone is currently in WvW except for me.

Is there something wrong with the queueing system ? Or is there something strange going on with my account because i can’t really understand how someone who queues an hour after me gets into WvW before me.

Yes we’re all queueing for the same battleground, yes the icon in the top shows queued, no I didn’t go AFK and miss the dialog.

i’v the same problem, my guildmates enter in 20/30 minutes and i wait wait wait, today 2,5 hours… thanks to annoy me … must be the spirit of a “game” of 50€…

Everyone I’ve talked to has had the same issue so I’m surprised there hasn’t been more attention here.

We also have noticed this. Someone elsewhere commented that they thought it reset your place in the queue if you went to overflow while already queued. (They were guessing) People in my guild believe you will enter faster if you are in your personal story area. (Again, guesses)

What seems to be the pattern of people who get in sooner than later?

I am usually the one who gets in sooner. I am also the one who is busy map jumping to farm for maps in higher level areas. My brother who seems to always gets in last is usually just hanging around Lions Arch. It once took him an hour just to get out of the Lions Arch Overflow. We have a voodoo feeling that you will not be asked to join while in the overflow. Again, just wild speculations.

What have you guys noticed or observed?

what I’ve noticed is that my guildmates higher level, that are not usually in overflow areas have no problems, I that every time move in a new area, I end up in an overflow area I have this problem.

I also tried to log out, login, go to Lions Arch, wait to get out from overflow, get in the queue and random wandering for one hour without change the map, but the situation has not changed …
sure to enter in game for doing nothing waiting for the queue is not really my idea of ??fun.

From my experience it doesn’t matter where I am or what I’m doing. One time when this was happening I was completing sparkfly fenn, not in an overflow. Other times I was going into and out of a lot of zones
