Guild Wars 2

So tonight while playing WvWvW matched against HoD and ET. My server being JQ. HoD guilds named CND and RMA used invisible potions after breaking down the gates to storm the Castle Lord on Eternal Battleground. Still able to cast spells and dodge past JQ players and defenses. I’m not sure if this is suppose to be working as intended but its kinda dumb to have 40+ organized zergs to all pop a invisible potion to get by. They still got wiped 3+ times from doing so. But the point being is the potion has no cool down on use so you can indefinitely spam the potion to stay invisible technically. And in my opinion this is an exploit if 40 man zergs can go invisible and spam the potion while in combat to keep disappearing in front of your eyes when there not a invis type of class.

Not sure if this is the place to put a post like this to report a massive amount of people exploiting a item as such. But if not please move to post to where it’s suppose to be.

P.S. Don’t mean to Q.Q on the forums about anything really. But this just kinda annoyed me that every 5-10 secs after there invis wore off they would pop another potion. Very irritating to kill opponents that are constantly invisible.

I don’t see any potions listed on the wiki that give stealth. The only cooldown for it is a brief effect (wiki says a few seconds) where they cannot re-enter stealth after it ends if they try to use a stealth skill.

It could be the wiki hasn’t updated all the potions yet, and I don’t think they were using skills that granted stealth. I did poke around on it to see if it was possible to give a group perpetual stealth and it seems like it would just be inconvenient since you’d need a bunch of people of the same class casting AOE stealth (like one of the mesmer’s Elite skills). You can still take damage and you’re forced to wait between each stealth buff before you can be in stealth again.

Well individual people were going invisible AFTER they already been zoned into to me. Like I get the whole if there’s a crap ton of people then there’s a brief amount of time before they show up on your screen. But these would be individuals like warriors and such with NO mesmer’s or thief’s giving stealth to team mates. In map/team chat a bunch of people were saying they were using such said potion. I left WvW after the Tower I claimed fell and I went to go ask one of my guild mates if there was said a such potion. He said there is and its bought from the sylvari area but he doesn’t exactly remember the spot of where this merchant is. So I guess it exists, cause I have NEVER seen people that have been already phased in-front of me just randomly disappear that are non-stealth classes. Thats all I’m saying, so if this potion is true, I’d like something done about it because a 40+ man zerg shouldn’t be able to go in and out of stealth that much or fast and stealth by enemy lines. If you stealth by it should be skills from classes, not consumables that can be bought/made. Then all WvWvW would come down to is who has the most organized team that can go stealth forever. And before that happens the potion needs to be disabled in WvWvW and since you can’t see player names I couldn’t exactly get any one of those except for the guilds that were doing so. And HoD is a server that supposedly organizes what guilds and what people that can join the WvWvW queues to do organized attacks and defends. I didn’t notice the other guilds there doing so, so no need to name them.

But a lot of people in map/team chat was saying Henge of Denravi exploits a ton of stupid things. I don’t know these things cause people didn’t specify, but I can say that this potion is one of them if said item exists.
