With CoF effigy path 1 when all my party members apart from me didn’t receive their achievement due to the party issues, fair enough. We should’ve been more careful and made sure the party wasn’t bugged (Like we always do now).
But then last night we did CoE path 1 which took a long time to do and was anything but a walk in the park for us. Then right at the end AFTER we all received our loot and achievements (I even checked the achievement screen) the login servers crashed. No biggy, We had our achievements. We go to bed for the night, wake up to find that our achievements were rolled back.
Seriously? I don’t care about the loot, or the tokens (al though they are gone as well) or the xp. All I do the dungeons for in regards to reward return is the achievement which was taken from us. Can we please get our achievements back since this wasn’t of our own doing in any way.

I was in the party with Fay and I also didn’t get any achievement (and it seems the tokens were rolled back too). I’m aiming for the dungeon master title and this is the second time a glitch has caused me to not get an achievement (the other being CoF path 1…). Sad face

Same issue here, in regards to progress vanishing when the servers exploded late last night.
Did all 3 wings of AC, which nets 180 tokens. Log on today to 120 tokens in my bags, and down a level.
What is going to be done about this? How are we going to be compensated?

There doesn’t seem to be enough people upset to make it game wide so I assume it’s just our server several of my guild members also reported having lost progress some of which serious like ours whilst others not as much just few items and such missing.

Well there are quite a few posts about it in the Unable to Login thread in Tech Support. I play on Gandara and lost a couple of hours worth of progress and everything that goes with that as well as a chunk of gold that appears to have gone missing from attempting to buy some gems during that time. If it is euro servers then there are probably going to be less posts than there might otherwise be as it was very late on so presumably the numbers on the servers at these times was much lower ?

My party and I just completed the dungeon again and got the achievement but we’re still missing the tokens from last night (+ two people who were in the party didn’t come with us this time so they are still without achievement).

Same as the other desolationists, logged on today and all the area i uncovered last night along with all the karma, silver, XP, heart quests etc all gone/reset.
What’s most annoying about this is the complete lack of anything said when we log in, something like “sorry there was an issue last night, we had to rollback etc” but nope, add to this the fact that this isn’t the 1st time either.
To make matters worse the BLTC went nutty aswell so i ended up with 8 of an item i wanted 1 of and i a lot of silver gone for my trouble.

Anet, you really need to start letting people know when you’ve done a rollback (it shouldn’t be hard to put a little notice on login) and you really need to start giving people something for the lost time/effort/gold etc they loose. Something like if a reset is done, then the servers affected all get a 50% XP/gold/karma/token etc boost for the same lengh of time as the rollback (rolled back 3 hours = 3 hours 50% bonus for the ENTIRE server).

It would also be nice if they’d at least acknowledge this happened and if they intend on doing something about it. It’s not so much the karma, silver and xp and such but some people earned rewards/achievements for difficult content or got some rare loot that they now no longer have. At the very least if they aren’t going to reimburse us to at least explain to us what happened.
