Good to know. I hope it’s just a bug which they’ll fix because I’m losing my mind for some reason because of this. I haven’t realized how important something as simple as idle animations could be until I lost it.

The characters I play are all 80s, so I can’t say much about the new leveling system, but this makes me more mad than anything else this patch. More than FGS nerf. If it’s intended, oh boy. The little stuff like this were what made the game for me.
what even this?? First i hear hearts got made like in traditional mmo quest.. Bland and boring in early zones than i hear weapon skills are aquired through level grinding and u cant go in pvp till lvl 30 and now this??

Precisely. I can handle buffs and nerfs but I can’t handle the loss of the little things. They make the game; they are where bits of personality and flare come out and I have gotten very used to it.

Your feelings are irrelevant in this matter. Something that was there was either removed or has become temporarily lost in coding. Nothing was added but everything was taken away. Do you understand? It’s like a violation.
The femininity of the human female was one of the few reasons I didn’t shelve this game and why I love my Ele so much and her animations. It’s also the reason this race/sex combination is probably the most common one. Now my character is like a lifeless robot and I haven’t realized how much time I do spend looking at the idles, like waiting for bosses and other events to start or just talking to people in cities, than I have now that they are missing.
First they break the running animation and now they replaced the unique human female idle animation with the norn female one. Same animation for different races. Well done!
I encourage people to also submit a bug report while in game. Game Menu → Support if you’ve never done it before. Select Creature or NPC under Area, and then Animation under sub-area, I guess.
