i don’t know what kind of bonehead invented the interval of fires and spikes at loreclaw expanse. the issue is simple. the front spike always gets back before spike behind disappears. this is really weird, don’t you think? and the fire gets through my shield, which should block every kind of damage (except fall, ofc). i saw vids where spikes didnt kill that mage running through. i have tons of toughness stacked (for a mage), so how can i die there? the only thing to do when downed is jump down to water, which saves you, but there is not enough time for that. and one more problem: when i’m downed, i can get to a elemental, shiny thing, i can move again and nothing can hurt me for about 3 secs. interesting, that this doesn’t apply to those spikes and fire. Pls respond me somebody with a mindful answer, i am very frustrated

its perfectly doable as there are safe zones between traps (and there are safe zones near fire traps on balconies), also toughness doesnt decrease damage from traps, vit food/equip/traits helps a lot there (you need >1200 hp to not die from 1 hit of spike trap). Also traps ignore any damage immunity boon/buff. Have fun.

War doesn’t determine who is right, only who is left.

On the fire traps, the actual burning(condition) is what will kill you, bring any condition removals you can spam there and a speed buff, you should be fine. The spike traps are quite easy, the safe zones are obvious and they don’t do that much damage. And don’t worry, there is a trap after the fire ones that you’ll love! I did this with a level 16’ish thief.

Sometimes it’s necessary listening to the silence, it could tell more..
