where are my achievement points

the Points are back… BUT! in the process i lost 19 points. before the update had 1989. during the bug they dropped to 1540. then i earned 10 points from Daily PvP and WvW and Daily. today when i logged. it showed 1980 Points. so 19 points lost.

Wife still missing 74 points, me 40. I know its not much but fix this please. reported it and have yet to hear a reply.

I had almost 3k points before the patch, now I have around 2,8k. I would like to get some information from ANet if something was changed or removed regarding achievement points in the latest patch just to be sure if I should write a report or not.

Still missing 150ish points, my guess is they are from Daily’s, Monthly’s, and salvaging, sucks working my way back to where I was, any ETA for a fix?

I’ve looked into this and believe I have found the root cause. There were some achievements that were made, but not added to any of the categories that people could silently complete. Before the patch, these points would be added into your total. After the patch, these leftover achievements are not considered valid and therefore will not count towards your total. This is why only a small number of points are still missing. This is correct though, as those leftover achievements were never meant to be progressed anyways.

Bluxgore (80 Warr), Xilz (80 Necro), Ivo (80 Eng)
Bra (80 Guard), Fixie Bow (80 Ranger), Wcharr (80 Ele)
Xdragonshadowninjax (80 Thief)

Thank you for looking into this, bummer they are gone but if it was never meant to be then hopefully it will be correct moving forward.
