I am experiencing problems with the camera angle. When I click and drag around the screen the camera angle rotates extremely fast and it is difficult to control. I have the camera movement set to the slowest setting in settings and it has no effect.

I have similar problems to this, especially when I drag the camera to look upwards, the camera will all of a sudden zoom really close to my character, and then I can no longer see what is above me. Camera angling and movement in general have been one of the only gripes I’ve had about this game. Please make camera control more user friendly!!!

I had this problem the first time i tried it on Mac, I fixed it by changing the mouse “tracking speed” settings in the “System Preferences”.

I will check the mouse tracking speed again but I don’t think that will resolve it. Mouse tracking speed seems to have no effect for me. I should point out that I am on a 15" Mid 2012 MacBook Pro with anti glare screen. The non retina model.

I should add that I don’t use a trackpad at all, I have an external mouse that I hook up that makes movement and camera control somewhat easier, but still it seems as if camera control is not up to par with the rest of the game.

I am on a mac mini so I am using an external RAZER mouse. So i Am not sure your computer will work the same, but make sure you are changing the actual speed of your mouse in your computers settings, not just the in game settings.

So, when I logged in today, I saw there was an update. It seems that this update may have fixed the problem I was having. Camera is not erratic anymore and is actually quite smooth.

I’ve actually had a similar problem in all mmos I’ve tried with wrappers or wine.

I am just using some old crappy wireless mouse, works fine on everything else, and I had the same problem when I first started playing about 2 weeks ago, I just kept clicking the only 2 mac beta options for mouse control on and off, since the way they suggest to fix it wasnt working. After about 10 minutes of doing this eventually it started to work. Except my mouse wheel zoom is inverted. But thats hardly a big deal to me.

Im just glad I can play an mmo besides WoW, i hate WoW, or without buying windows 7.

I have a same problem ….. Macbook Pro 15" mid. 2012 . High Res screen , non-retina ( 1680×1050 ) I use wired mouse . I can’t play at all …. camera goes crazy when I click and drag around.

Well.. guess i am not making it easy on my self.. but i have the same spinning problem.
I am on a 27" iMac 3.6Ghz i5 and using a Intious 4 with mouse Going to buy a proper mouse tomorrow and see if it helps.

Just tried to remove the tracking acceleration and reduce the tracking speed in general. Seemed to work great. Then again i have to release the mousebutton to move the other way hehe. No matter where i move the mouse it keeps going the same direction until i release mousebutton and start over.
No doubt these problems are due to me using a tablet instead of a mouse.
