1) Had to do account verification through email after trying to login
-Tried to open ports, didn’t work
-Saw that I had to delete GW2.tmp, somehow managed to do that, but then restored it
-After 20 tries or so of the email verification not working last night, this morning, on the first try, for some reason it did

2) Game not opening
-When I try to open the game from my applications, or from finder, or from some other place (Anywhere basically) either:
-The game does not load at all (no activity seen)
-I get an error message (-1712 error: screenshot attached)

Really frustrating. I’m new to GW2 (a week and a few days) and this is almost making me want to move on. I’m really bad with computer problem-solving. Can anyone help me out?

Note: I have Mac OSX 10.9.4

I received that same error when GW2 crashed while playing. GW2 still running in the activity monitor so I did a reboot of the computer and I was able to launch it.

I’ll try that. I did it last night but not this morning after getting in finally. Going to work now though so I’ll have to try tonight. Thanks!
