"Audio Device" setting not working.

I have 2 audio devices, the on-board sound card and a Logitech G930 USB headset. When the G930 is not plugged in, the on-board sound card is the Default Device. This is the setting in GW2, and sound comes out where it should.

When I plug in the G930, however, the Default Device (in Window’s Playback devices) becomes the headset. All audio switches to the headset except GW2 which stays on the on-board sound card. If I go to the Audio Device setting in GW2 and change it to the G930, then sound moves to the headset, but now, if I decide not to use the headset any more, I cannot move the sound back to the on-board sound card. GW2 completely ignores whatever I set here until I exit the game.

So I have 2 problems:
1) The Default Device of the Audio Device setting does not appear to honor what the Default Device in Windows actually is.
2) Once you manually tell GW2 which device to use, it uses that device until you exit and cannot be switched a second time.

Please advise.

I have the same problem. I have on-board sound and a Logitech G930. I can play the game fine with the sound set at my on-board sound in GW2 (Realtek High Definition Audio) If I decide to put my headset on I can switch audio in game to the Logitech G930 Headset and all is good, the audio moves over to my headset and stops on my speakers.

Now if I decide to put the audio back on my speakers I open the GW2 options again and select Realtek High Definition Audio but the sound doesn’t leave the headset. The only solution I have found to this is to quit GW2 and re-launch it.

Does anyone have any ideas why this happens and how to fix it?
