Guild Wars 2

Got this in game and was laughing cause it seemed so fake but then someone mentioned to me that it is actually a real email for my account so figured would ask here.

Also please notice at the bottom where it specifically states it is from another player and not the GW2 team. I see someone even mentioned that in your chat log. Report it by clicking the exclamation mark icon then delete it.

Yeah I seen that message also and even reported this email but then someone that sounded like they knew a little bit about what i was talking about said it was legit. Maybe he/she was the guy making the emails lol

Yeah, if the “This isn’t by Guild Wars 2 Staff” message appears below the mail, then it isn’t legit. Not one bit.

Most likely someone trolling you. These scam mails are most often sent from stolen accounts. I doubt the scammers bother to participate in chat as they are too busy trying to steal other accounts and are probably using some sort of bot to send the mails.
