First it is a very bad thing to post your email address you used for your account it makes it easier for hackers to steel your account. Second what are the specs for the cromebook I’m thinking that a cromebook doesn’t have the power to run this game. Cromebooks are basically just for Internet applications. You will need at least a duel core processor and Intel HD 4400 graphics or better to get any playable frame rates. My laptop with I5 duel core and HD 4400 graphics runs the game at 25 to 40 fps and drops to single digit fps in large Zergs ,just bairly playable. All in game graphics setting are set to medium and low so I’m thinking the problem is your system. Some people play this game in Linux with mixed results I think the GuildWar2 Wiki has a tutorial on how to get the game running in Linux, this may help you.

Looking in at the specs online of you netbook I don’t think it can run the game in the manner you are trying. For one thing you are using Wine that emulates Windows inside of Linux. This is using system resources next you are trying to run a game on possibly the barest minimum the game may run on. Yes your system has Intel HD graphics but I can’t determine what version. Next the processor is just a duel core celeron so very limited and last the thing only has a 16gig SSD not near enough drive space for the OS Linux Wine and the game. GuildWars2 requires at least 20gigs+ of hard drive space. Yes you could run it from an SD card or a external hard drive but the system power is not there. Good luck!

no, problem is not resources, problem is u just cant run this game with Wine on linux.. end of story
