Guild Wars 2

I just bought gems in order to transfer servers, but as soon as I go onto the character select menu and attempt to transfer servers, it says my account balance for gems is 0, would anyone mind helping me out or elaborating what I’m doing wrong please?

I think I saw a similar problem not long ago and the solution was to log out and log back in again.
