Hi.

Anyone able to possibly shed some light on this.

GW2 keeps on crashing my PC, with a loud buzzing through my speakers when it does so.

No overheating issues.

My set up is:

Intel® Core™ i7-2600K CPU @ 3.40GHz

NVIDIA GeForce GTX 980

16GB RAM

Windows 10.

Be gentle, I’m rather rubbish at tech. It’s the only game I have that crashes.

you will need to let your anti virus soft ware to give it permission to have access to the internet .

also you will need to go to windows fire wall and set inbound and outbound rules for it to get access to the internet as well .

if you not done these things yet doing so should fix your problems and get you back to playing the game again .

that is good news to hear they can get to the internet . . what is your pc,s operating system windows 10 ???

only thing I can think of to maybe help you with this now is what is your

power management windows 10 plan set too in windows 10 ???

This screen can be accessed from the Control Panel. Click the “Hardware and Sound” category and then select “Power Options.” From here, you can select your preferred power plan

if that is not your problem then right now I am not sure and maybe some one can help you that might know better.

but I think it might be the windows 10 power management plan . hope this helps you

If you receive the Crash Report window from GW2, click the ‘Show Details’ and post the first part of the report, so that others may assist you.

If not, you can contact the Tech CS Team via the ‘Support’ link above/below and ‘Submit a Ticket’ for assistance.
