Im still wondering what’s gonna happen after today’s patch, maybe the “fix” or just make it worse

today’s patch seems to have improved the verbosity of the crash logs.

Seriously, I think this problem is caused by 2 sides. I had no issue with old kitten 8800 GT till a recent upgrade to 660 TI last month. Since then, all drivers doesnt work great, giving random driver reset at a point of time. Until I tried 306.97 on 14th, whole day wvw, dungeons 10 hrs+ without any issue, frame rate ranging from 80-180.
And after the patch on 15th, the problem start coming up again, but way less often than with 306.23 before. It could be the driver, or could be my factory oc’ed GPU causing the problem.
Afterall, simulation program may not prove ur system’s stability. I was running prime 35 on OC cpu for 1hr end up getting BAoD in gw2 until I lower the clock. So should 3D mark etc, able to run those simulation doesnt mean it will be 100% stable in real run.

I doubt Nvidia actually made specific adjustment to GW2 yet, as we didnt see that being stated in the driver notes so far. Guess we have to wait till Anet and Nvidia actually work together.

Hi Alpha Dragon, I did get a fix by adjusting the setting of my EVGA card, like the core use and stuff increasing it, that way the game never started crashing, when I reset it back to normal i tried doing AC but it starting failing. So I only increase the setting a little and i have no problem so far. You should give it a try, ofc depending of the manufacture of your card the program will be different but it does the same at the end.
