I have been able to log in and play for about a minute until some of the colors in my game start to change into a green and blue mix. Does anyone know what might be going on?

I just updated my drivers to the latest, and every other game that I run has no problems. I’ll check for over heating though.

My gpu temp is about 51 celsius , so I don’t think that it’s over heating. any other suggestions?
You can try repairing the client, deleting the local.dat file (my documents/guild wars 2), or fidget with your video card control software settings. Try application controlled settings.
Also, are you running any overclocking? Or any special setup?

I deleted the local.dat file and it let me play for a while longer (about 45mins each time) but still ends up crashing.
Can you post your crash log? It’s named arenanet.log (my documents/guild wars 2), please export it’s a .txt file and attach it using more posting & formatting options below.

you just have a 32 bit version of windows and there is a weird bug. Had it for a Year now and it got really frequent. Just use more virtual memory and turn on something that is called “windows 32bit 3GB switch” because windows restricts the memory that is available for GW2 even if you have still enough “free memory”

So I changed those settings, and it seems to have worked. Thank you so much you guys
Oh great! Glad our friend Schnolltz popped in to post that, I was just reading his success story. Post back if any further issues.

I have the same odd issue. I’ll try this as well.

I have the same issue. Once I get into the game, and it’s not crashing on startup, I can change areas perhaps 3-4 times before people start to have a blue-greenish tint, and about a minute later it crashes (even when standing still, doing nothing).
I rarely see textures after coming to a new area since the last patch either, and no loot bags either. It takes at least 5 minutes before they show up in the world.
I have deleted my Local.dat file and run -repair.
I’ve re-downloaded the whole game again (actually it did that by itself after a crash)
I’ve defragged my hard drive.
I’ve got the latest nVidia drivers for the graphics card.
I’ve added the /3GB switch (running Win XP pro on pure Intel).
No overclocking, no special setup. The game used to run fairly well before the latest patch (about 3 reboots to get it to run, because it crashes on startup, but it did run once I got it running then).
Dark, can you post your complete system specs plus your crash log?
To find crash log, go to my documents/guild wars 2, it is named arenanet.log. Export this as a .txt and attach using more posting & formatting options.
