I don’t know if anyone else mentioned this but, sometimes while playing my screen goes black while the music stutters. I have to completely restart my comp and then I get the message that my system has been restored from a serious error.

What’s your PC specs? Likely your PC isn’t powerful enough to run GW2

Sabertooth i7 motherboard w/ quad core processor
nVidia GeForce GTX 560 Ti
16Gb RAM

I NEVER had problems running GW2 on this system in the past (aside from the occasional disconnect)

Try older NVidia drivers .. if that doesn’t help try even older .. and so on until you
find some stable one. That at least was the procedure i always had to do when
i had NVidia cards o.O

Did some checking on the Net and it would seem that nVidia drivers above 300 result in sporadic driver crashing. So I reverted my driver to the 295.73 version. Will see if it holds later today.

Looked around on nVidia forum and it would seem that driver versions above 300 tend to sporadically crash, then recover. I reverted my driver to version 295.73. I’ve been playing for a good 3 hours now and it seems to hold.

if you find you encounter more issues the 285 drivers are even more stable then the 295+

aswell if oyu continue to have issues(i ahve a 560 aswell) you may have to reformat the drivers past 314.22 edit the registry in a way that breaks the 560 no fix for this for over 2 years you may have to reformat and reinstall due to that driver issue.

looks like reverting my driver to 295 worked. haven’t crashed in the last 3 days. tnx beldin for the tip
