Good evening everyone,

I think there should be a little more clear explanation in regards to account bound Gem Store purchases. Yesterday I bought the Watchwork Mining Pick and thought that the item would show on any character that I create. Well I ended up deleting the character and quickly realized that the item is now forever gone. I tried contacting support right away and they said than there is nothing that they can do about it and that they were not able to verify the item purchase.

I find this impossible to believe because it shows in my purchase history. Basically almost 20$ down the drain. I asked for a gem refund so I can re-purchase the item but it was denied.

After looking around in forums I found out that you need to transfer this item to the account bank before you delete your character. As a new player this is something that I didn’t even knew about.

I am really upset about this and I hope someone from A-net can help me through here since the e-mail support proved to be useless.

You can respond to your ticket and ask for a review or reconsideration. If you do not receive a favorable response you can post in this thread for review by the CS lead.

It may be helpful to take a screen shot of your gem store purchase history and send that with your response.

I noticed you posted in the thread I linked. I still suggest you update your ticket with support and include a screenshot if you can. You can update your ticket by responding to the last email they sent you. Note, do not submit another ticket as duplicate tickets slow response time significantly.
