I’m finding the lag really bad after the most recent patch today. My stuns are landing right on them but nothings happening, and I’m seeing my targets rubber band – as well as my skills not popping when I use them. I ran speedtest and everything seems okay on my end. Other players in WvW are saying the same thing, what’s going on and how can I fix it?

I’ve been getting bouts of bad lag recently too. Not sure if it’s related but just thought I’d share.

Me too, after the patch this game is unplayable for me.

Can’t go to a map with many players, my character keeps rubber banding.
2 second delay on skills, and sometimes even 2-5 minute delays if my char’s on a
populated map

Same here, getting unplayable bouts of lag, especially in WvW where it’s most noticeable.

It’s getting ridiculous to the point where I am right on top of them and then they appear 1500 yards away or I am at 100% hp then all of a sudden at 20% hp then dead.

Getting really frustrated here. I’ve reset everything on my end and this has never happened before, only started recently.

Lag for me too after the patch, I’m also getting disconnected after 30min-1h playing.

I’ve only had this happen to me recently too, in wvw I always got on rams as fast as I could and just tapped away at the keys as they came off cooldown, but now I can’t, more often than not everytime a skill comes off cooldown I tap away at it for 1-3 seconds before it fires off. Incredibly frustrating

I’m not rubberbanding or anything unless I use a leap skill, and I don’t seem to teleport at all, just ridiculous skill lag

Perma 1-2sec delay in Spvp and WvW , this need a fix asap it’s killing all the fun.

Not even talking about the 1min+ delay in big WvW fight where skills doesn’t even launch.

Having same issues here

Wife and I are having the same issues. lots of hitching and 10-15 sec lag spikes. was horrible in fractals yesterday. Did not have this issue prior to patch.

Just wanted to add my internet is fine for all other activities. It’s just GW2 atm. I was experiencing lag spikes/rubberbanding/players blinking around/skill lag in PvE as well as WvW today.

Seconding this. It’s really becoming aggravating when this is happening only to GW2 and every other program I’ve tried running has no issues.

Any update from the devs on this issue. The hitching in framerate due to network issues only with GW2

I am having extremely bad skill lag and rubber banding today. The game is near unplayable, in fact I logged until fixed. I have tried 2 different characters in 3 different areas. All other games run great just GW2.

Here is my ISP info but most the time skill lag is server side.
Quest/CenturyLink fiber 50/20
Tucson AZ going through Phoenix Layer 2
I am on Devona’s Rest

yes, there is a delay – for instance, trying to take supplies, I need to hit the key a few times for it to seemingly register – the game feels ‘clunky’ somehow.

I’ve been experiencing this terrible lag also.

It is literally unplayable. Logged on again last night after about a 2 week break to see if it had improved to become playable, but it has not.
