I recently installed and got a warning I don’t have the minimum of 2GB of ram, yet my mac has 64gb of ram.

If you’re playing on the OS X client. It cannot see all of your RAM. It’s a cider port running in 32bit mode, meaning it can’t see more than 3GB of RAM, and some of that needs to be allocated to the wrapper that runs the game.
There’s unfortunately no solution for this other than waiting for the native client to come out.

yep, flamingfoxx is right.

I have heard that mac uses different conventions which breaks windows abi for 64 bits applications which means its impossible to have a 64 bit version of wine without emulation. Of course, apple cannot break all the applications out there to fix this issue.
