Guild Wars 2

It’s been a while since i played Gw2. Tonight i felt like messing around a bit, but that was cut short since the game has been freezing. With no other window popping up with a/an error code or something so i can research/google; I’ve resorted coming to the forums.

The freeze happens in-game after 1-6 minutes of play. The character could be standing still with me just moving the camera. And it will still randomly (with no specific action) freeze.

Regardless of what i just wrote this is still too vague for anyone to give me a good solution and/or answer. Is there a Gw2 debugger, repairer, or error generator?

GPU: AMD Radeon HD 7900 Series (7950)
RAM: 8.00GB Dual-Channel DDR3
Moth.Board: CROSSHAIR V FORMULA-Z

Well, this could be any variety of issues.

For starters, please post your CPU and GPU temps while your system is sitting idle, then post temps or both components after running gw2 for a few minutes… Preferably before the full crash, but after running for at least several minutes. Let’s make sure it’s not overheating. If you don’t have software, you can download a free piece of software called hardware monitor. http://www.cpuid.com/softwares/hwmonitor.html

Also, look inside my documents/guild wars 2. Post any arenanet.log or crash logs files for us here. This will tell us if gw2 is generating any errors you’re not getting to see.

We can try a repair, you can try updating your graphics card drivers, etc etc, but without knowing these couple things and making certain that it’s not physical or something quite specific, it may be futile and we’ll waste time shooting in the dark.

The 7950 i have. I had it overclocked. That is what cause my game to freeze.
