Disable or add the game to the AVs exception list also make sure you are running the game in administrator mode. You may have to uninstall the AV altogether and use a more gamer friendly AV like Avast or Windows Security Essentials.

How do I get Windows Security Essentials too accept the gw2Setup file? I cant seem to find it
I don’t think you should have a problem with windows security essentials that’s what I run and I have never needed to add the game to the exception list not sure if it has one, are you sure that the shortcut is set to run in admin mode.

There is only admin mode. As there are no. Other.. accounts at all. And it still closes down before the download begins.

Processor: Genuine Intel® CPU T2300 @ 1.66 GHz 1.67 GHz , 2 gb Ram, system operetive 32-bit.
It could run it before, I uninstalled it few months ago.

What sort of video card are you playing with?
From what I can tell already your processor does not meet the minimum requirements and your RAM is right at the bare minimum which can affect whether or not you can install the game. While some systems that do not meet the minimum requirements are able to handle Guild Wars 2, this depends entirely on your hardware and how below the minimum requirements you are.
Please understand that even though you were able to play previously, as your hardware does not meet the minimum requirements that does not mean you wouldn’t eventually encounter issues down the road.
I had a computer worse then this one and it could run Gw2 fine on the low standard fine. I think it is Mobile Intel® 945 Express Chipset Family. Havent had a lenevo before though.
So there’s the issue. Again, even though you were able to play previously, there was never any guarantee that it would continue to work which is why these cards are not supported. Please understand that the minimum requirements are not a guideline. They’re the lowest system specifications in which the game will run.
I am truly sorry for any inconvenience this may cause but unfortunately there isn’t a way to force the client to install if it’s failing due to the hardware. If anything, try updating your GPU drivers as this MAY help but beyond this there isn’t anything else I could suggest for you.
