Guild Wars 2

I just got my friend to try GW2, he liked it, and decided to purchase it, while installing he realised there was not enough disc space for the entire game.

So my question is, does the downloader make a resevartion of the space or is his download going to stop mid-download?

For best performance, install the game ( 35Go ) on the harddrive.
If you don’t have enought space, you can take the folder with your game and install it on external harddrive or USB Key.
I try with usb key but she’s dead quickly ^^.

For what I’ve seen, the installer increases the size of the data file (GW2.dat) in steps while downloading. My current installed size is 32.4 GB, but expect to require more space when the expansion is going live.

Based on the PoF’s system requirements, you’ll need 50Gb when it goes live.
