Whenever I try to log in I get booted from the game with this message: “The game client lost its connection to the server. Please wait a few minutes before restarting the client and trying again. (Code=7:11:3:191:101)”

PLEASE HELP!

I’m getting that too, either while loading into a map or about 5-10 seconds into it.

Did it just start happening?

Might have something to do with people logging on to start with the exp buff, as a friend just mentioned as we both got kicked out. Couple tries and we still can’t.

getting auto-kicked also, game is currently unplayable,

Same happening to me. However it only seems to happen in Silverwastes, since my main is there. My other characters are working just fine, and they are in Lion’s Arch and Frostgorge Sound. Either it’s map or character specific.

same with me, my main which is in silverwastes is unplayable but everything else is fine.

Same issue for me; started at midnight PST. My character was in Silverwastes, then in Dry Top. I see the problem both places.

Guess I’ll try other zones.

I can’t sign into my main in Silverwastes at all, but if I’m on an alt in another zone, I get kicked quite fast with the same error.

Random disconnects happened to me and a few guild mates. I started playing 45 minutes ago, get kicked 10 minutes ago. There does not seem to be a patron. We had the same issue a few weeks ago, ArenaNet solved that pretty quick (at least for me). Hopefully they can do that again today.

I doubt, due the presentation later today this might require a while, plus it is around 3:00 a.m. in US

Same here. By now I heard reports of this happening in the Silverwastes, Dry Top, Brisban Wildlands, LA, … list constantly growing.

It doesn’t seem to be a specific server IP since when I DCed in Brisban, I had that on both IPs 206.127.159.13 and .12 – then I left the map hoping it won’t happen on other maps, just to be DCed again in LA…

Have the same issue. Being DCed on most maps. Many players have been expressing the same issue.

It’s happening to people both in EU and US.

ive also been experiancing these problems , but just in silver wastes so far

Same here in EU, DC’ing every few sec mainly when i try to claim daily reward. I manage to leave Silverwaste, done story in grove and after mission dc’ed again.

Getting kicked after 2-3, mins, characeter in Iron Marches. Keep logging in to the start of the same event, 5 times now, finished it twice before being kicked. Had enough now, decided to give up and wander into town and get a coffee

yep been happening to me for for the past 2 days, i will last maybe 10-15 mins then im gone. The same thing was happening to me a while ago. Probably their servers having a fit. Either way they should let us know what it is and what they are doing about fixing it. Silence is not golden Anet

Same here, from EU. Sometimes i get kicked within seconds, sometimes after 10 minutes.

Getting this starting an hour ago. Never happened before.

I have logged back in 3 times and after a couple of minutes i get d/c and all the work i did has not happened.

It’s making the game unplayable.

As a side note, my world map completion on my main (which is the one getting d/c) is 0%.

Please explain what the heck is going on?

I play on US server but I’m from EU myself. I logged on the game and even before loading screen was done, I got dc. Then I got back in the game, after 10 min I dc again and noticed POI and Task (heart) was undone. I went to get that POI again and to do the task and got dc again, they were undone again. After this, I was standing still and got dc 3 times in row. I had to get out of the game ‘cause it’s unplayable. All this happened in Iron Marches map.

Having the same problem. I select a character, the map load screen comes up and then I get the “The game client lost its connection to the server. Please wait a few minutes before restarting the client and trying again. (Code=7:11:3:191:101)” message. Cannot play the game at all.

(edit) Only getting the problem with characters in the silverwastes.

The 3.00 AM in the US could be an issue. I expect them to look into this as soon as they are awake. That is my experience in the past at least. And yes, that can take a few hours. My remark was more to reassure people that ArenaNet normally looks into this kind of issues as soon as they are awake. And that the issue will be solved for most of us rather soon after they look at it.

The presentation at Pax later today makes it more likely ArenaNet wants to solve this issue fast. I don’t think they want massive disconnects in the game when they are giving their biggest presentation in more than two years. That does not look good

Hi. Got same issues as above. On all chars/maps. It would be really nice to play couse i am after operation and geting bored. Can someone competent pls post some information?

I am getting instaDC in Silverwastes as well, tough I don’t seem to have any problems elsewhere (didn’t try Dry Top). Playing from EU.

Experiencing the same issue as above. Most of my characters are either in Silverwastes, Dry Top or Orr, and I am kicked the moment the map loads on them. I must add, however, that starter maps seem fine, as I have no such problem with my low level thief so far. Though game is pretty laggy even there, too.

I am getting this too. And because it often happens on loading screens, even if you are simply traveling to another zone, when you try log back in you then get client-crashes because it doesn’t know what zone you character is in!

Adding myself to this as well. (Connecting from Europe, Norway specifically.)

I also keep logging in dead, even though I haven’t been in combat. People resurrect me each time I log in, then after I disconnect, I find myself dead in the same spot again. It’s as if the server doesn’t save the updated state.

Same issue here, playing from EUR. In Silverwastes it was within a couple of seconds, but experiencing this also in other maps.

A pity that this is happening on a grand day as today, which is one of those “make or break days”: grand announcement to be made, in combination with potentially large inflow of new players thanks to price discount on GW2…. a pity their first impression with GW2 will be quite negative because of all those disconnects.

Because of this crap i lost sigil and 3 globes in the morning and now i even cant log in. When i succed complete one story Quest and get DC on the end… Getting tired of this… when this will fix? can someone pls at least respond????

I am having the same issues as all these other people. everything was fine for a few hours between 5-7am Est then multiple kicks with the error message. I’m frantically searching the forums to see if there has been any anet response to this issue as it is making the game unplayable.

I get it also, even when trying to make a new character.
