I would like to be able to look at a list of the last 5 or so times that I logged into the game and/or forums and the IP/locations of those logins (and if applicable, whether or not that attempt to login was successful)

In this particular case, I’d like it because despite using a password I don’t use anywhere else, I received an email notification for a login to my account from China. I have since changed my password again, and it seems that this time, the authentication stopped any problems with my account.

However, I would love this ability to look at previous login attempts as a feature, if at all possible …

If you go into My Account → Security, you can see a list of IP/logins, and can disconnect other logins. However, I don’t think we can look at previous logins.

This happened to me as well. Seems like regardless of what password is used they can bypass that or have access to the password itself somehow.

From seeing the rest of the account hacking posts, it seems there is something severely wrong, and I am going to hold off playing until this all gets sorted, if I even continue to play this game.

Elnai -I saw that. But it’s current logins only. I didn’t find the option for the past stuff either, sadly. Hence the request, because the support team is usually pretty awesome at stuff like this (or they have been in my past experiences with GW1).

Rion – my account didn’t end up hacked, and it’s clear that the email authentication step stopped anything untoward from happening. I’d guess that as long as you have different passwords for your email and your GW2 account, and maybe make both of them new ones (read the post about security. 4-5 unrelated but common words is a far more secure password than anything shorter with numbers/letters) that are different from each other, you should be fine. I’ll continue playing without any worries about it, so long as I stay on top of it. Fact is, security is almost always a reactive thing. And the hackers are only going to get better.
