I came back to the game after a lengthy break a few days before the last living story was available. Naturally, I collected every achievement I could before the event ended. However, because of the way that it’s set up this time around, it’s impossible to finish the 50 point meta without doing a few days of dailys.

This is my problem. For both the clockwork meta and the jubilee mete, I was one daily (per meta) short of getting the final achievement. I’m not sure if it’s possible to, say, grant me the final steps that I need, but that would be much appreciated, as it’s driving my OCD up a wall.

PS: Not sure if this is the place to put this, but here it is.

Sorry. But they require you to do the work before you get the rewards. They aren’t going to make exceptions. If they handed out rewards to people who didn’t do the work required, it wouldn’t be fair to the people who did finish all the requirements. Also, if you were gone for a lengthy break, you missed a bunch of other achievements. This will just have to go with them.

Hi Korago,

As Astral said, the rewards are given for doing the achievements and doing all of them. See it as Usain Bolt running the 100m. He is leading for 90 meters, but then trips. This means he will end last.

This is indeed not the place to discuss this. If you want to discuss the way they are doing things, then gw2 general discussions is the right place.

If you want to make a suggestion to change this in the future you should go to suggestions.

Last of all, if you want to have an official answer to your request you should file a support ticket. However, as Astral pointed out, this works as intended so the likely answer is no.

Arise, ye farmers of all nations
Arise, opressed of Tyria!
