My recovered account is banned?
I’m assuming the situation you are dealing with is very similar to my own. Hopefully people like us receive a response soon.
I have the same issue. I was excited when I saw the email at work. Got home and am now crushed

They said they reset my password and restored my account after it was hacked last Friday.
same issue. 5 days later, get a auto response email(or copy paste email)
My best friend had this and sent arenanet an e-mail and hasn’t heard from them in ages.
It’s pretty dissapointing not being able to play with my friends.

I am really in need of some help. Last week my account was hacked. You guys were able to recover my account perfectly fine; however, upon attempting to log in, I receive a message saying that my account has been perma-banned. I submitted a ticket last week with no response. Am I really responsible for the actions that the hacker made on my account?
If your account was hacked, we’ll be able to determine that in researching the ticket that you submit. You then would not be held responsible for the misbehavior of the hacker.
If you can update your older ticket, that would help a lot. Otherwise, please make a new one and the team will help you.

so we get hacked then the hacker uses our accounts to sell gold or transfer or whatever and we still end back up in the submitted ticket line? again? come on guys/gals you have to do better then that…I mean really
gaile is there any way we can make sure that we arent banned right after an account is restored? include it in our request? ide hate for this to happen to me. havent had access to my account since the 30th… my bday
I would also like to know if theres a way to avoid banning….also waiting on hacked account to be restored
