For the past few weeks, my connection issues were never resolved. I constantly get disconnected in PVP, WvW and even Open World. Tried what the dev told, Port Forwarding, DNS configuration, WinMTR, etc. I’m tired of the email exchange that results to nothing but blaming the other guy. Blame my ISP, blame bad hops etc. This never happened with the other games I played (CS:GO, Diablo). Only with GW2.

Sad, I do love playing this game but this might be the end.

This Telia.Net connection that I see in the trace results shows huge packet loss before connecting to Anet. I’ve been playing for 3 years + now (just received my 3rd birthday gift) and never did I get this type of issue before. Only after the Living World 3 update.

Thank you to the GMs who attended my concern, but no, issue was not resolved. 8 disconnects in the last 30+ minutes made me decide.

I’ll still login for the daily rewards. It becomes a habit I suppose (talk about 3 years). I still hope this connection issue get fixed, not for myself though. But for the new guys who bought your game. They deserve better.

You said yourself that the drops are with Telia.net. Have you made any attempt to contact them?

If those other games you played had their servers where Anets are physically located, you would have the same exact problem. Anet doesn’t own telia so there isn’t anything they can do about it. You could change your service provider. A different service provider may take a different route to Anets servers.
