I am running an i7 920 CPU and a Radeon HD 6750 GPU. Most of the time, even in a packed Lions Arch, I get a comfortable 55-60 FPS. Mysteriously, around Anchorage Waypoint in Cursed Shore, my frames drop to an uncomfortable 15 FPS for seemingly no reason at all. (Even when there are no nearby events.) I know the area is straining my GPU because the GPU fan kicks up to full speed while i am in the area.

overclock the cpu or upgrade it.

upgrade the videocard to at least a 7770

most fps drops in this game are related to cpu bottleneck but your gpu is very weak as well for a gaming system.,

I have the same problem when fighting the Bloomhunger in the swamp fractal. Turn down those reflections and you should notice a huge increase in performance. Currently there is a bug where your GPU will render all reflections, even the ones you can’t see under the ground, around the hill, and over the mountain.
