Everytime I go into Siren’s Landing, i am bombarded with a load of lag, the whole map is experiencing this, but there is no lag in any other map if you could look into that ?

Yeah I last played on Wednesday and everything was fine. Downloaded the latest patch and Siren’s Landing is unplayable. WTH?

It is still lagging and is unplayable.

Ya, I stopped playing because of the lag. Hopefully this will be resolved soon so I can get back to the fun.

Enormous lag – I experienced my count of slowness on various, new content launches but this one is discouraging

I am also experiencing this and it puts me off staying on that map because it’s so bad.

It’s very annoying…I’m just not even going to bother playing on this map until this is fixed.
Please Anet be quick about it..

ip .164 and .151 is unplayable imo, very odd at weekend :-(

The Map is unplayable now, it was fine a few hours ago, but the massive lag spikes have returned and have all but made the map unplayable again.

Its taking too long already, are they really looking into this matter?

Yeah lag is really bad on Siren’s Landing. I am officially done with SL. It has completely ruined it for me. I doubt I will ever be going back to that place again even if they fix it in 24 hrs. This really lame. Even here there is issues. Msg from logging into forums. Already getting annoyed with this game then they pull this bunk.

Forum Slowness – 27 July 2017

You may have noticed that the official forums are loading more slowly than normal. Technical team members have been informed, and they currently are investigating the cause of the problem with an eye to correcting it as soon as possible.

Can confirm as of right now the lag is real.

Bump, Still the lag exist, i wanted to know whats taking soo long ? and i mean really long to fix this issue.

Bump. I’m still getting MASSIVE lag every time I visit. Sometimes it’ll subside for a bit, but when it’s bad, it’s BAD.

I’ll be fighting a mob when my attack just doesn’t activate. Then suddenly autoattack seemed to rapid-fire and all the enemies are in different locations.
…or…
I’ll be fighting a mob at Balt’s place when my attacks freeze again. My target freezes. Seconds pass. Then I’m suddenly downed, trying to recover as my target and 3 others are all on top of me.

The lag in the new zone is so common, it’s just un-fun. …but then I go to some other place (Lake Doric, Bloodstone Fen, Lion’s Arch, Gendarran Fields, etc.) and no lag! At least, nothing noticeable.

Often during the lag spikes, I don’t even see ping times change. I’m wondering if this is a DDoS issue…but I know next to nothing about how the GW2 servers are set up.

If it’s helpful, I’m often experiencing this around 10 PM to 12 AM (midnight) PST. North American servers.

Not just Siren’s, Snowden Drifts is having the same issue with lag, and PvP unranked is having the same lag issues. Is Anet servers getting DDoSed again?

I don’t, and haven’t, really experienced lag anywhere in the game, save for some DDoS attacks over the years, until Siren’s Landing.

Frankfurt and other problems aside, Siren’s Landing is a ‘constant’ problem for me, and it doesn’t bode well, the last LW3 zone before the release of the next expansion being in a constant state of lag, when 5 new ‘big’ zones are about to come out.
