For about two days now i get this error. Am i the only one?

Nop i’m getting it too, stuck in loading screens mainly and then i get the connection error. Been happening since 2 days ago as well.

Sometimes it overcomes the loading screen and i’m in, but mostly not and I can’t load in at all.

Similar. Starting today I am stuck in loading screens. Music is nice. And I am also in Netherlands with Ziggo. Using MacOS beta 32 bit version.

And I am back in GW2. Did a repair job in terminal. Ended with an error. “Timeout failed – no server response”. But it did something! Everything is currently working for me. Cheers.

When i keep trying i finally manage to get into the game but the moment i try to warp to a different zone i get a timeout again. :/ For now this is most relevant for my level 24/25 Revenant running around @ Diessa Plateau. When i try to log one of my level 80 characters in different zones it’s somehow no issue, really strange.

A repair has been done about 20 times now, does not really help.
My system is already configured to use Google dns servers .. i’ve even switched to an openDNS to see if that made any difference, no luck there either. :/

Update Even switching to Google DNS didn’t do the job

Having the same issue since a couple of days, I mostly seem to get kicked out during map travel to another zone… I sometimes get locked out of play said character for 30+ minutes, I hope we can get some proper with help this.

I have the same issue also since a couple of days when ever I try to play with my characters that are located in the grove I get kicked out while my characters who are in the heart of the mist can be played. I can even play pvp matches and wvw fine its just that my 2 characters who are in the grove can’t be accessed… I would really like this fixed asap cause I just want to play the game

I was leading DS and got it right after modre was down. Then I couldnt get back on the map to collect my loot /gg

It getting on my nerves specially when i know it’s not coming from my DL speed or my ping… tho i feel like playing on a smartphone…
Is it possible that error come from ip adress?

Same stuff here. Get stuck in loading screen and then that exact error. Also a Ziggo user here. Has been like this since 2 days. 17th July 2017. 7:0:0:1022:101.

I get the exact same errors when playing on my home network.
Two of my characters are stuck in the Brisban Wildlands, however i was able to get one of my chars out of there when i logged in from a KPN network.

I guess this is why we need #netneutrality.

We already have net neutrality in The Netherlands. And they also do in the USA, they are just afraid they’ll lose it there. Anyways. The issue seems resolved for me now. Anyone still has problems?

Basically you describe what I have been experiencing since monday… on multible accounts.

Thing is i’m not on NL but in FR. My IP is bouygues. I had few issues on some others games DL patches. Reason why i was wondering about the ip adress is i had less problem using a VPN.. anyway it would be nice to know where the problem is coming from.
Also the EU ANet servers are not in FR. So if we have to jump through NL to reach the ANet servers and you telling me that is a general problem with NL internet maybe we’ll have to wait for NL IPs to be fixed before we have the problem solved in FR as well? (not sure if i make my self clear)

For now it al works fine again, no idea what changed it.

I’m getting this like crazy… it’s dropping me every 5min. Sometimes it’s dropping me multiple times in a row. I’ll load in, it drops me. I’ll load in again and it drops me. Pretty frustrating to play when you can’t stay connected.

I’ve been experiencing the same issue for the past 2 days. I’m in USA, midwest.
Started acting up with just one character in Straits of Devastation. Every time I try to switch to that character, I get the same Game Client timeout error. Music also works fine, but the log in screen music lingers longer than usual and when it eventually ends the straits of devastation music does not chime in. Once it got through and I saw my character on screen for all of 10 secs before the Game Client timeout error kicked me.
All other characters played fine until today.
I just tried to warp another character from Rata Sum (which was working perfectly, including home instance) to Metrica Province, and the game client timeout error occured. Tried to log back in to the same character, same issue. The first character is still stuck as well. Can provide screenshot of error if needed.
Time out error always takes a minimum of 5 minutes to appear and kick me from the game.
Speedtest shows my usual ping, upload, and download rates – nothing abnormal recently.
