That’s the same as my husband got Henrie. We don’t know what the email of his account is so that recovery is pretty useless.

I’m hearing that people who bought it digitally don’t even have CD-keys. We got ours from a store (no refunds for online games, which is a pain since we’d be better off claiming a refund and buying a new copy at this rate). No idea what those people are supposed to do.

there’s the right ticket.

The other one was one we created because it was taking a long time to get a response after we replied to the automated message.

We read that we aren’t to make more than one per issue now, though we’ll just stick with the original ticket and hope that it goes through.

Especially since creating new ones isn’t all that useful since they take less priority if more recently created.

I got an email today (around 8 hours ago) telling me to visit this page https://account.guildwars2.com/recovery and enter all the details and verify. But this didnt work. Because its not a password issue. The Account Email / Name has been changed by the hacker.

I’d submitted this ticket back on 8/26. I had used the Digital Deluxe Tome of Influence, and I received absolutely nothing as a result. I was representing my guild at the time as well, and the Tome just… vanished when I double-clicked it. It is not an issue of it going to the wrong guild or anything—it’s an issue of me not receiving one of the specific benefits I was wanting from purchasing the DD edition of the game. =/

Hello again.

Now I received a reply, but… No, the recovery didn’t help much. Now I’m receiving another error, as stated in attachment. Now how do I fix this?

I have done everything you adviced in the reply, yet nothing changed the error, although the banned error was away when I woke up & haven’t even done anything, so thank you for that. But so, the game wasn’t still working correctly, even though I verified the account with serial/account/character name and once again reseted my password to a longer complex one (random small and big letters & numbers). I even tried to disable
my e-mail authorization if that would help, but no.

The error says I am suspended until the matter of someone else can not anymore enter my account, but how do I know how long can this investigation last? Can’t you just let me play the game now that I have changed the password already? Plus, I cant go to put the e-mail authorization back up without passing the error in the login.

I’m writing from my gf’s account cause on mine i’m unable to use forums [no idea, why]
Since 2 days i get an error 122 along with 21 while logging in. When I asked my friend to try to login he got on my acc ‘transaction in progress’ [error 34 oO].
I know [unfortunately now] that i bought my serial from an unauthorized vendor and now i’m almost100% sure that his serials are from illegal distributor, BUT I cant do anything cause i dont have any statement from GW2. If you could just send me an email/answer to my ticket that OFFICIALLY this serial is stolen/bought with illegal credit card or so, so I could call my vendor or even go to the Police and prove the crime, cause noone will believe me that all is wrong cause i get an error while logging in.

This your having a laugh 30 case solved in 1 day and most of these are for cheaters that were using the Karma exploit, so they can go back and do the same. How many people you got working in support 1. If you need help e-mail me , Jesus i used to do more then that before dinner. Preordered the game, got to play the head start, 2 days later a Hurricane (Issac) hits my State in the U.S. and I lose power until September 3rd. When we get our power back I try to log on only to find out I am permanently banned for gold seeling, etc. At some point the email authorization was put into place and I have 12-14 attempts to log into my account from other countries. I have sent that information as well as provided everything you have asked for. I have not received any responses either.

The ticket from 8/28 had significantly more detail, but was, in essence, a duplicate. Today I updated 8/26’s ticket with the detail, and closed the ticket from 8/28 to help streamline the process as previously suggested in the forums.

Essentially, two players – one being myself – used their Tome of Influence from the upgraded prepurchase for our guild. At the time both players were only in one guild and showed as representing our guild. Neither Tome provided any influence increase to the guild. It is also not listed in the guild history. The guild is Tyrian Assault Response Team. [TART] The server is Blackgate.

In the ticket itself are further details including player tags.

I understand you are experiencing a high volume of tickets, but any help, or really any response at all, would be appreciated as I have not received any communication regarding these tickets…one which was submitted 8/26, two weeks ago.

Two weeks without even a form letter regarding a real world money issue…. Please respond with something… We’re big fans, but the silence is deafening…

EDIT: To be clear. I may be frustrated, but I am certainly not irate. I understand that our issue is minor to those who still have never even had access, and I have faith that in the due process of time, our issue will be addressed. So how many people were hack if they doing 5000 a day ? If my response is ridiculous whats yours, my ticket as been in for 2 weeks been updated and escalating to a Senior member of the Account Login Team to further assist me but still nothing. This is more then the 72 hrs and the ticket was done before all this blow up with accounts been hacked, so were is the excuse. So over the past 7 days seens the Hacks began 35,000 people have had they accounts stolen, tells me one thing somebody is lying at Anet say they came from another website or more like Anet was hacked and they keeping it quiet.

Today is 6 days without even an automated e-mail response on my ticket. Did it get lost or something?

I just want my serial code that I paid for applied to the account I wish to play on. I mistakenly created two accounts, one using my 3 day headstart code, and one using my serial code. I simply wish to continue playing on the account I used the 3 day headstart on. I’ve provided every single piece of information I can in the ticket. So why is it that I’ve been absolutely and completely ignored?

Date created- September 8, 2012
My husband account got hacked, the email got changed. Last known time that he actually log in was around 2.30am EST, when the maintenance was about to happen. (from what he tells me)
Got an email saying, Someone -hopefully you!- has requested to change the email address associated with your Guild Wars account
Now his email is no longer an existing account, should he re-create his account or wait it out?

I am posting here because I am awaiting a resolution from a ticket from Aug 30th. I have had a few seperate issues, one with gem billing and another with an account ban.

I originally submitted the gem billing issue on August 26, Incident: 120826-011612. Since then I have also had an issue with my account being banned, so I submitted another ticket updating on August 30 to include that issue as well, Incident: 120831-002045. The billing issue was resolved, but both tickets were closed despite my account ban appeal still awaiting a response. I wonder if having two issues on one ticket wound up causing the 2nd issue on it, the ban, to get overlooked.

I have since responded with another ticket on Sept 5, Incident: 120905-010453, and am still awaiting approval of the ticket, since I had to resubmit the issue to try and get it resolved. I have also updated the other ticket that included both the ban and the gem issue on it.
I am not sure if posting here will help, but I have been waiting a week and can hope you will expedite the process.

Honestly, I feel that I have a lot more faith in the support team. Now that I know they are doing it in chronological order, while taking care of support tickets for various other issues aside from account-related.

I was only concerned because I thought that they were only prioritizing hacked account tickets, and taking care of easy tickets on the side.

But now that I can see where I stand in the assistance, I am relieved.

Hacked Account [Incident: 120903-012959] My roommates account was hacked on Monday (He hasn’t been on since so he was probably banned). The self helper isn’t working for him because the hackers changed his account name (The email he registered his account under is no longer a registered email). He’s run everything he can think of through the self helper and it doesn’t seem to be helping.

This your having a laugh 30 case solved in 1 day and most of these are for cheaters that were using the Karma exploit, so they can go back and do the same. How many people you got working in support 1. If you need help e-mail me , Jesus i used to do more then that before dinner. Oh goodness, this is not the all-inclusive list of addressed tickets! This is a response to those who specifically posted in this thread. There were hundreds and hundreds of tickets resolved in the same timeframe — I’m just answering those who posted.

Also, not most, but very few of these were using the karma exploit — I think just three, maybe?

Please don’t jump to conclusions or make sweeping assessments. It doesn’t do you, the others players, or us any good at all.
