Unhacked myself! Self-help worked!

It doesn’t help if you bought the game when the authentication servers were screwed up and you weren’t even able to make a character, THEN were hacked, even after using a convoluted password.
This probably does not work for those of us who got banned does it…
Nope. Just like everything else.
Unfortunately, it currently just unlocks those of us who had only our passwords changed. However, on the bright side, it does clear up some tickets, which may help the turnaround.
Yea i feel like i’ve been trolled since my account name was changed that self help is useless, my ticket clearly stated that my email had been changed yet support sent me a messange to use the self help when they should know that it doesnt work for the people like myself that had account name altered… It’s already been the second time i get an useless reply it’s even worse then not getting any reply because i get the feeling they just threw my ticket away after that and won’t be contacting me anymore, should i make a new ticket and wait even longer? Tssssk this whole situation is getting very annoying
Friend of my just registered with his key and couldnt log in. He was sure all the info he typed was correct. Since this is his first attempt to play he doesnt have any chars. So he keeps getting error because the character name is left blank>_> Pls fix this issue.

how about u help us instead of asking for more info on the error it just says error contact support if your team would actually read the tickets we would have our accounts back… please look at my ticket and then read lances response makes no sense 120907-003514
I have lost my account for 5 days . i received a response with no clear way of getting my account back. After reading this post i successfully got my account back through self help. Thanks for doing what Arena Net staff could not. i better go cancel my tickets. might be an idea to make sure all hacked players know that this option is available. My email was changed and support gave me a completely different email address. obviously i couldnt log in with the details as it sent authentication to the email address i was not familiar with. Self help enabled me to get my account back though . thanks!
