A friend of mine is interested in playing GW2, she has no account yet.
I have an account on the European servers.

However, she is going to go to china next year, for 1 year, to finish her studies.

We where wondering if;

A) We can play together when she is physically in another contintent?
B) In order to play together, should she buy an European account here, an account once she is in China, or does this not matter?

Yes, you can play together from anywhere in the world. She would need to buy an account there, before going to China, as the China release and the NA/EU release are separate.

As incupatus said, the China game is separate from the EU/NA games so if she buys the Chinese version, the two of you will not be able to play together. She needs to buy an EU version. With that she can play from anywhere in the world and you two can play together.

It should be noted that connecting from China to the EU servers may be less than optimal, lag-wise. Might not be a big issue with MegaServer in open world, but WvW and PvP might be a huge issue.
