Anyone know what IP add. i must ping to check the /ms response time?

In game chat box type /ip you get the server IP you’re on.

Is there a way to test the ping now in office without installing the game. ? I just want to see the latency over here.

Here is a list of NA and EU server IP addresses. I’m not sure how up to date it is though as it is from 8 months ago. You can try pinging each of them or just the ones that are relevant to your area to see if it is still valid.

Though someone here says this list is not of pingable addresses.

Someone also says:
“PvP Areas are hosted in different hosts than the worlds are, so your PvE/Questing Ping may be different than the sPVP/WvW one”
“WvW and sPvP matches are also hosted on arbitrary servers, so if you’re looking to minimize your ping to gain an advantage in PvP, you’re out of luck.”

I’ll see if I can dig up a more recent and pingable listing of them.

Apparently those are not good IPs up there:
“64.25.xxx.xxx IPs are the NA servers in Texas. The 206.127.xxx.xxx IPs are the EU servers in Germany.”

Just open up Task Manager when gaming, click the Performance Tab > Resource Monitor , check under the TCP Connectionss tab and look to the right of GW2.exe under Latency to see your current ms.

Those are WvWvW Rankings from 8 months ago and are NO way IP address in anyway at all.

At that link you will see there actually are IP addresses listed in the posts. Though I also stated in my post that others state that they are not pingable addresses. So, yes, they are not the correct IP addresses for the servers, but your statement that they are “NO way IP address in anyway at all” is false. They are IP addresses, just not the correct ones…again, as I stated in my post.
