Q:
What to upgrade?
A:
the 1st one ..dont bother with ..its AMD and the GPU is crap.
The 2nd one isnt to bad though. Should handle GW2 ok. More so if u OC the cpu. The one thing i will sy about the 2nd one is that you wont be able ot run high on the graphics ..since the 650 is not a gaming GPU .its a high end media GPU .. the Nvidia gaming gpu’s start at x60 ..i.e 460, 560 and 660 and up

CM Storm Stryker case | Seasonic 1000W PSU | Asux Xonar D2X & Logitech Z5500 Sound system |
Well tbh, its all rather dated/slow. And any 1 part upgrade will requir other parts upgraded aswell.
Im guessing the ram is DDR2 ?
Anyway i recommend the following.
CPU upgrade:
2550k + Mothebroard + DDR3 RAM
GPU upgrade:
Nvidia 560ti
Question then arises is. Can the rest of your parts fit together with the newer components. It looks to me your current rig is prebuilt. So you need to know how big is ur current powersupply. What mothebroards types does you box allow ? (ATX, M-ATX, E-ATX?) Are you HDD’s and optical dirves Sata or IDE ?

Its a compaq presario case custom fitted with little intention of upgrade-ability. Might as well get another case/psu too if you’re building one yourself.
If you are not comfortable building a new machine yourself, buy another prebuilt one and upgrade it’s video card.

Yea I kinda figured as much, how well do you think either one of these computers would handle the game?
