borders look pixelated
So you only changed the monitor? That means the problem is with the monitor itself. Try hooking it to your computer using the different cables it may have came with and if you have multiple DVI inputs on your video card, try them all.
It may be caused by a configuration option on the monitor itself. Some of those monitors have built-in effects like sharpening and gaming modes for a rawer experience. Press the button on the monitor and experiment with its settings.
It may be caused by the refresh rate. Try lowering it to the standard 60 Hz.
This is all assuming you’re seeing a grainy screen, which isn’t going to be visible in screenshots. If you were simply referring to the character preview for example, previews use low settings with aliasing off, so you can’t change that. You would have noticed this on your previous monitor unless it was a smaller screen. If this screen is much larger, you’re going to notice pixilation due to stretching.

ok i lowered to 60 hz but nothing changed, i resolved the problem on far object by improving the anti aliasing with nvidia inspector but the pixelation in the character preview is the same, i have changed the sharpness and the modes in the monitor but it doesn`t work (and i guess i didn`t recognised this problem with the old monitor because it wasnt a full hd monitor so i was playing not in HD) now ill try to plug the hdmi instead of the displayport and see what happens

That’s most likely the problem. You’re going to notice a lot more pixilation, especially on bigger monitors. You can try experimenting with graphics enhancers to improve the look, such as reshade, sweetfx and gemfx.
same problem with the hdmi cable, i my monitor is 24’’ you notice pixelation too in the preview tab as i do? (edit, i checked older screenshots of the preview tab and they are pixelated aswell but i couldn`t notice with the old screen, ill try with reshade, sweetfx and gemfx thanks a lot

hi, i changed my monitor to an asus vg248eq today and i am running the game in 1920×1080 144hz and everything looks pixelated especially in the character preview. As you can see in this pic ( http://imgur.com/a/44umX ) the hair and the border of the face of my pg looks pixelated, i have also made a screen of my ingame settings
- Have you uninstalled the old monitor driver and installed the most recent one for your new monitor? (Yes, monitors come with drivers, too. )
- Have you checked what the native resolution and frequency for your new monitor is? They might differ from your old one’s.
Edit: P.S. The screenshots look perfectly fine, so you are just seeing things incorrectly. I suggest you follow steps #1 and #2.

HDMI is meant for plugging the device to a blu-ray player and other multimedia devices. If you want to be able to play on a high native frequency, always use the DVI cable to connect the monitor to your computer.

Just install the driver for your new device, that should be enough.
Also, please check out the part I added to my last response.

I have done what you said and nothing changes, right now i am using the displayport and in 60hz and 144hz it looks the same, i have updated monitor videos and unistalled the old ones but it looks the same as before. Probabily the game looks like this normally but i was used to see it with less details because the previous monitor wasn`t full hd and i couldn`t notice the pixelation (that is present almost only in the preview in the wardrobe).
Okay, just to get this straight: You connected the monitor to your PC vis dual-DVI cable, then downloaded and installed this driver, and it still looks “pixelated” to you?
Then I assume it must indeed be what you were used to from your old screen, because — as was stated before — the sceenshots look fine, no pixelation whatsoever. I would also check the monitor settings, as ASUS has a built-in configuration technology. Maybe the sharpness is set too high up?
P.S. The wardrobe, like any preview window in the game, does not use anti-aliasing! That’s why it looks pixelated (because it is). This saves resources on your system and probably on the servers, too.

When installing this new monitor..Did you make sure you plugged it into your GPU and not your motherboard?
