Yes. It’s in Sparkfly Fen.

Same here, error 5 on loading screen to Sparkfly Fen. Other characters work fine

My war is stuck on there too. All other toons are ok.
I also went to sparkfly Fen with my engi…and now is stuck there too.

So looks like a problem with the map.

Nope I did not try. Because if I do, I won’t be able to play the game

ok i tryed it for u guys, now i have 4 stucked characters in sparkfly, dont even try to get to that map-while loading map it will show an error !!! lucky i have 2 more characters :-D

I’ll be kittened That’s pretty hardcore. Please don’t lose your last 2 characters by testing

wanted to test it for u guys, only i need is one character to farm some boss untill ill be able to use my main character.

I get the same today while loading mad kings labyrinth. It will not lock the character though, but i need to restart the game from gw2 start window.

Relogging, restarting the game didn’t help for me. Restarted my computer and my internet connection too. Also tried using the -prefreset option from the shortcut. Nothing works so far.

EU Piken Square – exact same problem.

Was transfering from Bloodtide Coast to Sparkfly Fen via the portal and it just comes up with the error code.

Also, its my only character

So it is global. I’m on Whiteside Ridge. I guess all we can do is wait now.

yep just now the client crashed when i tried to enter the labyrinth with my thief

A lot of my guild mates can got o sparfly without any problem…

Cannot log into Sparkfly Fen map. I can log onto ANY other character that is not in this map, but as soon as you try waypoint to Sparkfly Fen, you will get disconnected.

Error message is attached.

I get the same error if I try to enter Mad King’s Labyrinth on any of my characters, they’re all in Lion’s Arch

It happened just now to me when I tried to load into my tPvP map (Foefire). Pretty kittened.

I have teh said error while loading tpvp map (also Foefire). I feel kinda kittened by this, since tpvp tries to force any char in you are logging with.

Yep, same here.

Same issue here. I was bumped out of the game, relogged back onto the same char, but she was sent to some wp on the map she was mapping out of. I’m just going to avoid any teq until this is fixed. Dangerous stuff.

Fixed after 15 minutes. I wonder if anyone played that match.

Haha, what would happen if literally no-one played it? Everyone loses?

Still can’t enter Sparkflyfen without error

Had the same issue, couldn’t log in onto the character on Sparkfly Fen map about 2 hours ago (haven’t checked since that time).

Just took my ranger to sparkfly to find a decent map for tequatl kill. Now my main char is also trapped, can’t do anything until it’s fixed.

Seems like everyone is experiencing the same issue. EU Gunnar’s Hold.

“Hi there!

I would like you to try a command line argument we have seen resolve this type of issue.

Please go to your shortcut for Guild Wars 2 and right click it and choose properties.

In the line that says Target, add a space at the end of whats there and then -prefreset

It should look something like this: “C:\Games\Guild Wars 2\Gw2.exe” -prefreset

Click apply and then ok.

Once the above is done, try launching the game and logging into the character you are having issues with. If this resolves the issue, go back into your shortcut again and remove the -prefreset line.

Yeeeah that did not work when I tried it an hour or so ago.

All it managed to do was rest all my preferences and reset my map completion and achievements to 0%. Giving me a mini heart attack in the process xD.

Achievements seem back again now though.

I would caution others not to do the -prefreset.

-prefreset didn’t work for me, sparkfly fen still has me firmly in its grasps :/

Just an update on this issue. Have tried logging back in again just now and it worked!
