I’m curious, because after upgrading to them (after 13.4), GW2 became unplayable- it ran like kitten and there was TONs of input lag. After downgrading back to 13.4, it was fine. I didn’t have any issues with Allods or Dungeon Defenders, just GW2, so it could be game specific.
I’m just wondering if anyone had the same experience/a better one.
All I know is the new framerate leveler for crossfire setups is Dx10/11 only right now, no Dx9 or OpenGL support. Since we’re Dx9 here …
I as a rule don’t bother with beta drivers unless they have a specific fix for a game I’m playing.
Same here, got HUGE performance drop after upgrade. Now I havent played in a while so not sure if it is due to patch in GW2 or drivers alone but
crossfire 7970 playing in eyefinity 6048×1080
13.8 with frame pacing only effects crossfire configurations, not single cards as well as it isn’t for eyefinity yet. Also you can turn frame pacing off if you want to use the driver anyway. It’s in 3d application settings.
Doesnt do much honestly. GW2 doesnt like crossfire so frame pacing is useless. It does give you some slight FPS in other games that handle Crossfire better.
Frame pacing is useless because it’s not implemented yet for Dx9.
Later this month Phase 2 will include dx9 games and eyefinity resolutions when it’s released.
i just updated to the beta version a few days ago and hell my fps is so low ._.
i thought i was the only one.
i guess i’ll be reverting to 13.4
in other games though i don’t have any difference in fps.
