Hello,

I thought I would share how I have managed to fix my black screen issue, and I’ll make it quick.

Firstly I have a NVIDIA GeForce GT 630M graphics card and a NETGEAR D6300 router.

1. Open NVIDIA control pannel
2. Click on “Manage 3D settings”
3. Under “Select a program to customize:” find Guild Wars 2 (gw2.exe)
4. Change "Antialiasing – Mode to Application-controlled
4 (i). Change CUDA – GPUs to All
4 (ii). Change Multi-display/mixed-GPU acceleration to Single display performance mode
4 (iii). Change Power management mode to Prefer maximum performance
4 (iv). Change Vertical sync to On

Now if the above does not work and if you have a NETGEAR router do the following:

1. In your URL bar type the following address: http://www.routerlogin.net/
2. Type “admin” for the user name and “password” for password
3. Click on “advanced”
4. Click on WPS Wizard
5. Click on WAN Setup
6. Check “Disable Port Scan and DoS Protection”
7. Make sure nothing else is checked

I hope this helps players that are experiencing the famous black screen!

The second option worked for me!
