Guild Wars 2

Just a moment ago when the match ups reset in WvW, everyone was kicked off the game back to their desktops where they downloaded the new patch. However the patch never showed up for me. Every time I launch the game, it loads into the game normaly as if i’v already downloaded the patch. Yet when I join WvW, it kicks me back to the gw2 launcher as if I was about to download something, but then it doesn’t and i can start the game again. I keep doing trying to join WvW to trigger the download but nothing works.

Iv tried restarting my pc already.

got the same problem. my client wont patch. so everytime I log in I crash after character selection.

For what it’s worth, this happened on my wife’s computer so I copied my GW2 folder (gw2.exe, gw2.dat) from my computer and it seemed to fix the issue. I tried running with the “-repair” option first but that didn’t help.

If you have a recent backup of your files you might try restoring and re-updating as it appears something got corrupted in the most recent patch.
